There are many different tasks in this position, but it most closely resembles a mover and moving truck driver. The main difference is that you are moving the damaged/dirty contents of buildings that have had a flood or fire to our warehouse (pack out) and after the property is repaired, moving the cleaned items back (pack back). You will also be involved in the restoration of these contents. That process involves everything from hands on cleaning to deodorization. Customer service is a big part of this position. Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn. We will give you the opportunity to grow with us!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to drive or learn to drive a large box truck
Physical ability to work in a moving industry environment (lifting, squatting, packing, carrying boxes, etc.) in all types of weather.
Ability to learn quickly
Organized and thorough completing required paperwork
Efficient worker
Take accountability
Ability to use a computer and learn to use new software
Ability to thoroughly document your surroundings with photos and written statements
Ability to properly use cleaning equipment
Properly set-up procedures.
Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
Must be aware of job site safety and security at all times
Experience working in restoration or the moving industry
Willingness to learn all you can about water, fire, mold and contents damage

Position Overview: To professionally clean residential homes and businesses using Merry Maids' unique cleaning products and procedures.
Experience and Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience is NOT necessary
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
Drug screen and background check required for all hires
Be available Monday- Friday between 8:30AM and at least 5:00PM
Benefits:
Work 30-40 hours per week. Compensation during training starting at $11.00/hr.
Guaranteed $11/hr after training
Opportunities to earn $12 to $15 per hour.
No nights, Limited weekends, No holidays
Weekly paychecks
Mileage reimbursement and car allowance when you drive your car
