Clean light fixtures in all hallways. Clean and empty vacuums once a week. Linen distribution. Keep soiled linen and trash at a minimum on room attendant carts. Keep closets well supplied and well organized. Fill guest's requests. Must follow safety procedures. Clean the vending area. Move furniture. Wash windows in guest rooms Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous hotel experience preferred. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally is required to sit. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close distance color vision and ability to adjust focus.
