The Mold Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining components used in injection molds, ensuring all parts meet quality and performance standards. This position requires adherence to established cleaning procedures, efficiency, and attention to detail to support optimal mold functionality and production output.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and maintain injection mold components using approved tools and cleaning agents, including isopropyl alcohol, brushes, rags, Scotch-Brite pads, rotary tools, Q-tips, orange cleaner, ultrasonic tanks, and an ice blast machine.
Follow all documented procedures and step-by-step instructions specific to each component type to ensure consistent and compliant cleaning practices.
Inspect cleaned parts for residues, wear, or damage and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Work efficiently to meet production and maintenance schedules while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tools and equipment after use.
May also be required to clean mold plates as part of the maintenance process.
Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of cleaning materials and chemicals.
Collaborate with maintenance and tooling personnel to support overall mold performance and reliability.

The custodian under the general direction of the Head Custodian will be responsible for daily, school recess and summer cleaning, security, conservation of utilities and grounds, including snow removal. The custodian will also be responsible for the operation and minor maintenance of the various building systems such as lighting, plumbing, electrical, heat and ventilation, etc. using established practices and procedures within a public school building.
ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Cleans and maintains, by established standards, designated spaces, equipment, etc. by performing specific duties such as: vacuuming, dry and wet mopping, wet dusting, washing and disinfecting as well as removal of spots/stains from surfaces and floors, cleaning glass, applying floor-finish and other related floor-care duties.
Request, proportion and use chemicals, equipment and other supplies.
Collect and dispose of garbage and other waste per district guidelines.
To move or assist in moving furniture and equipment within assigned area.
Maintain building and grounds security within the assigned cleaning area as well as notification to the proper authorities in case of emergency.
Written communication with Head Custodian as required.
Grounds work to surrounding areas including such duties as: raking, sweeping, shoveling, snow removal, maintaining shrubs, trees and other vegetation.
To do minor repair work on buildings or equipment, or to assist maintenance staff when necessary.
Assist staff, students and visiting public utilizing facilities, where necessary.
Responsible for snow removal outside of regular work hours.
Other related duties as required by the Head Custodian.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment used in public school buildings and surrounding grounds, to include, but not limited to: commercial floor machines, vacuums, ladders, cleaning carts, lawn mowers, trimmers, hand trucks and snow removal equipment; must have a knowledge of mechanical systems (switches and breakers),as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; the ability to readily understand and carry out directions, both oral and written; the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written form; the ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, students, parents and the community; manual dexterity and the ability to perform duties with an awareness of school department requirements and policies.
EDUCATION:
Such as may be gained through graduation from a senior high school or equivalent (GED) preferred and/or three to six months related experience preferred. General literacy skills required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
*Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
*Must have a license, insurance, reliable transportation and good driving record.
*Over 21 years old
*A positive attitude that enjoys a team atmosphere.
*Have the physical energy and stamina to clean 2 homes daily, or 4 homes when working in a team of two.
*Able to move reasonable light furniture to clean under and behind, clean and sanitize bathrooms.
*Must be detailed oriented and take pride in providing exceptional customer service
Compensation: $400.00 - $700.00 per week
