Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for our guests.
Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship.
Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to American Cruise Lines' service standards.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies.
Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests.
Collecting and disposing of trash.
Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces.
Creating genuine relationships with our guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner.
In addition to the routine housekeeping duties, Housekeepers may be required to perform other functions, such as greeting guests upon embarkation, and helping during special events including but not limited to afternoon tea and snacks and participate in evening cocktail parties.

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:
Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.

Willingness and ability to become a Certified Pool Operator (CPO).

We have a full-time day or evening position available Monday-Friday, including alternating weekends, and all team members require some holidays due to the cyclical nature of hospitality.
Job Responsibilities:
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, counters, windows, and floor surfaces using rags, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning products. These tasks require extending arms over the head, bending, and stooping.
Strip rooms of dirty linens and te ry. Make beds, including changing the bed linens, when necessary, which may require lifting mattresses weighing approximately 40 lbs.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, blinds, and shelves thoroughly. Check under the bed to remove trash or other debris.
Push and pull vacuum or sweep the entire room and empty trash.
Replenish amenities and supplies in the guest room as needed.
Restock cart weighing up to 150 pounds. Visually inspect the room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion of the room. Must report all repairs or maintenance problems to the manager.
Maintain cleanliness of public space, i.e., lobby, restrooms, offices, elevators, and stairways as assigned.
Work in laundry loading by unloading washers and dryers and folding items for Spa, guest rooms, and public space as assigned.
For those that can drive, delivery of freshly laundered items to the Spa, guest rooms, and resort via golf cart. It was stocking shelves in needed areas with items from the laundry. The time expectation for each delivery is 15 minutes max.
Handle any guest requests as needed promptly-any other jobs as assigned.

A day in the life:
