What Does A Cleaning Staff Supervisor Do At Windham Mountain Resort

* The list below best represents many of the tasks you will be asked to perform at some time during your employment at Windham Mountain Resort.
* This list of duties is not intended to represent all of the tasks you may be asked to perform, however Windham Mountain Resort will never require you to perform a task that is inherently unsafe or that you are not adequately trained to perform.
* Overall day-to-day cleaning, routine maintenance, and special event duties.
* Check and clean bathrooms, hallways, offices, stairwells, storage room, locker rooms, dining rooms, and other areas as directed.
* Remain available to Facilities Cleaning Supervisor and Lodge Operations Manager via radio.
* Shovel snow from and salt walk and patio areas
* Maintenance of these areas is of major safety concern to all who use them.
* Remove garbage from trash receptacles inside and outside the lodge.
* Cooperate with other Windham Mountain Resort departments in maintenance efforts.
* Unload delivery trucks.
* Assist in the maintenance of department equipment.
* Responsible for greeting and dispensing information to all guests
* This involves approaching guest, inquiring if they have any questions and being able to respond professionally.
* Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing a quality product and experience for our guests.
* Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work.
* You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods
* We will attempt to offer consecutive days off and accommodate special scheduling requests, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to satisfy all requests.
* We expect employees to arrive promptly.
* Dress Code:
* Name Tag must always be worn - no exceptions.
* Must be neat and clean - nails clean: overall approachable appearance.
* Medium to Dark Wash Jeans with no tears/holes worn at or above the hipbones.
* Blue WMR Shirt (issued) must be your showing layer; may wear a white shirt underneath.
* Those receiving Black Vests (issued) must wear them zipped.
* Blue WMR Shirt cannot hang out beneath vest
* A white under layer shirt may be worn but may not hang underneath outer layers.
* Hats are not an item included in the uniform, however if one chooses to wear a hat, it must be a black Windham Mountain Resort baseball hat.
