Department: Shipping Indiana Reports to: Shipping & Warehouse Manager The shipping department is in charge of preparing the orders for shipment. The materials indicated by the picking ticket are collected, the materials and pallets are checked, that the packages are clean and in good condition. Clean or change boxes or bags if necessary. Ensure that it has the correct weight, in case it is missing, it is completed. The materials that come from other warehouses are reviewed, that they are not infested and that they bring the correct batch numbers and quantity. The work of this shipping area is very important because it is the last filter before the product reaches the customer. That is the reason why it is necessary to be stricter in following the established protocols to guarantee the quality of the product.
