As a marketing intern, you'll assist the Marketing and Creative Services team with various consumer marketing, brand campaigns, on-air promotion, paid media, and social & digital related tasks. You will be assigned on-going, daily responsibilities as well as stand-alone projects and will assist with various office and administrative duties. You will participate in weekly department meetings and various project meetings throughout the semester.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
+ Assists the Marketing Staff with development and execution of owned, earned and paid media
+ Support the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, including writing creative briefs, setting up test plans and tracking, project managing creative, routing campaigns for approval, and reviewing performance. This will also involve delivering marketing campaign recap reports, including analyzing results and making optimization recommendations.
+ Assists the creative and on-air promotion department by cataloging videos and clips
+ Perform market analysis and research social media trends, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok platforms
+ Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events, including onsite events at the San Francisco Giants, Athletics, San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Sharks and Golden State Warriors as well as community events throughout the Bay Area
+ Help manage the premium closet and keep track of inventory
Basic Qualifications
+ Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
+ Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).

Job Description
The Content group at NBC Sports Bay Area/California is responsible for the day-to-day planning and production of on-air and digital schedules. Interns will assist in the production of daily content and programs, while also helping various production and marketing related initiatives including research, audio/video production, news gathering, editing content.

Screening/logging of games, press conferences, interviews, and taped programs to prepare for editing

The Marketing Promo Producer Trainee Program is a 12-18 month accelerated program to train early career Marketing Promo Producers in our local NBC San Diego station. Brand Partnerships - Connect with brands to build collaborations that amplify artist campaigns. Teams also create pitch decks that showcase innovative partnership concepts and drive impactful campaigns.
Graphic Design - Craft visual assets for the label and artists, including album visuals, playlist graphics, social media content, label websites, and create digital tools.
Video Production - Bring artist stories to life through dynamic video content, including music videos and digital content.
Marketing - Contribute to marketing strategies, promoting artists and their music, managing social media, and more.

Job Description
As a marketing intern, you'll assist the Marketing and Creative Services team with various consumer marketing, brand campaigns, on-air promotion, paid media, and social & digital related tasks. You will be assigned on-going, daily responsibilities as well as stand-alone projects and will assist with various office and administrative duties. You will participate in weekly department meetings and various project meetings throughout the semester.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
Assists the Marketing Staff with development and execution of owned, earned and paid media
Support the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, including writing creative briefs, setting up test plans and tracking, project managing creative, routing campaigns for approval, and reviewing performance. Job Description

The Marketing Promo Producer Trainee Program is a 12-18 month accelerated program to train early career Marketing Promo Producers in our local NBC San Diego station. The Marketing Promo Producer Trainee is assigned a mentor who is an experienced staff member. Marketing Promo Producer Trainees also undergo an intense week-long orientation filled with workshops, lunches with guest speakers and leaders, and formal training.
Daily responsibilities to include:
Writing topical promos for daily newscasts
Editing promos for on-air use

Job Description
NBC Sports Bay Area, the broadcast home of the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, A's, San Jose Sharks, and Sacramento Kings, is looking for a Program Intern to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. You will help in planning our schedule, analyzing our viewership, and carrying out important operational duties. We are excited about the work we do, and we are looking for a Program Intern who is just as excited!
To succeed as our program intern, you must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams. If you also are a self-starter who can juggle wide-ranging responsibilities and can proactively find ways to improve the company, we'd like to meet you.
The goal will be to facilitate the effective management of content according to the organization's standards.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
Tabulate, maintain, and analyze content performance metrics
Assist with cross-department communication regarding initiatives and analysis
Help organize and execute the delivery to audiences of over 500 live events per year
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to work 16 to 24 hours per week from June 1 - August 7, 2026.
Must be willing to work in San Francisco, California.
Desired Characteristics
Students with a class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Windows Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Knowledge of Bay Area sports (a plus)
Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain operational standards
Strong written, verbal, and proofreading skills.
Ability to interface maturely with all levels of management and participate in strategic initiatives
Ability to work effectively under deadlines and extreme pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and multi-tasking abilities
Additional Requirements
Hybrid: This position has been designed as hybrid, generally contributing from the San Francisco office a minimum of three days per week. Our in-office days are Monday through Thursday.

Compensation:
