Home to the first mill that produced poster board from wood waste, the site currently operates two paper machines, two extruders, two power boilers and two recovery boilers.

What you will do
The Maintenance Technician has three main responsibilities:
Vibration route data collection, analysis, and reporting
Vibration monitoring system maintenance and management
Trouble calls, quality assurance checks after equipment maintenance actions, and follow-up checks on vibration monitoring system alarms.
A Technician's typical day involves several hours of data collection in the mill in various environments either inside or outdoors, followed by several hours of data analysis and reporting. Conditions during data collection may range from cold to hot & humid environments. Will require physical actions such as: standing; walking; climbing stairs, ladders, or catwalks; and sometimes working from heights.
Additional responsibilities include using several software applications for monitoring mill operations and vibration systems, inputting work orders for equipment issues, attendance of weekly meetings in areas of responsibility, and participation in efforts to increase equipment and mill reliability-including learning and using other PdM technologies as applicable.
What you will need
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
2 or 4 year Technical Degree preferred

Ability to both work independently in assigned areas of responsibility and as a team member supporting the PdM department and other areas of the mill

As a Co-Op at Clearwater Paper, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on value-adding projects and gain a general knowledge of manufacturing. Engineering Co-Ops will work under the supervision of our Department Managers to develop, implement, and maintain our systems to meet business objectives and goals. What you will do
The Maintenance Technician has three main responsibilities:
* Vibration route data collection, analysis, and reporting
* Vibration monitoring system maintenance and management

What you will do
The Health and Safety Technician assists in all site-wide safety initiatives and promotes a safe work environment.
Operational and Safety Focus
* Assist in the development and delivery of EHS training for employees, defining site-specific training materials
* Lead/conduct incident investigations into safety and environmental-related matters, including root cause analysis and recommend corrective action plans to ensure regulatory compliance
* Conduct routine EHS observations for compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, and practices. Ensure controls are implemented to eliminate or reduce issues
* Serve as technical resource or subject matter expert (SME) for site health and safety compliance, permitting, and self-assessments
* Facilitate and support site-wide health, safety and security programs including lockout, powered industrial equipment, site access, emergency response, etc.
* Work with other departmental resources to implement and execute successful EHS programs
* Manage health, safety, and security compliance activities, as assigned. Activities may include audits, surveillance programs, or program element management
* Complete EHS area inspections, recommending measures for reduction and elimination of environmental, safety, and health risks
* Hold self and others to high level of safety standards, ensuring workplace safety policies are upheld and safety rules are followed (lockout procedures, appropriate PPE, confine spaces, safe driving practices, etc.)
* Update safety documentation, ensuring all regulatory requirements are being met (safety performance measures, hazard abatement tracking, equipment inspection records, Safety Data Sheet, etc.)
* Participate in audits and provide follow up guidance to correct deficiencies
* Coordinate and manage EHS projects and initiatives as assigned

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and fairly computer literate
* Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced industrial setting
* Must be results oriented
* Capable of creating quality work while meeting deadlines
* Must be able to work in office environment and on production floor
* Able to comply with all PPE
* Must be physically capable of standing, walking and climbing stairs up to 8-10 hours per day
* Must be able to work in a hot, dusty, humid, noisy mill environment around high-speed equipment
* Must be able to adjust work hours to support the safety and environmental needs of a 24/7 facility
