JOB SUMMARY:
Receives and interprets information through telecommunication equipment. Dispatches the information received verbally to personnel within the Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services of Clemson University. Performs fire and medical assistance to the City of Clemson, campus and surrounding counties. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Dispatch Communications: Answer all emergency and non-emergency telephone lines, obtains and records pertinent information in the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system regarding the nature and urgency of the situation. Determines appropriate response and expeditiously alerts responding emergency response units (Police, Fire or EMS) via radio and/or telephone. Dispatches and directs officers promptly to emergency, fire and medical locations. Dispatches Parking Enforcement Officer to parking complaints. Ability to work flexible schedules - day and/or night, rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, special events - based on the needs of the department. 15% - Essential - System Administration: Operates the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) application to obtain information of drivers registration, vehicle registration, boats, guns, articles, missing person, unidentified person, South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicle Information, wanted person, warrants, criminal history checks on suspects; FAA Air Tracing, STORM-Hurricane Tracking. Enters, modifies, clears, cancels, and queries records to all of the above transactions. Adheres to the 10 minute "Hit Confirmation" messages. Obtains and remains certified within the first six months of employment.
15% - Essential - Equipment Monitoring: Monitors an assortment of CCTV's, observing unusual activities occurring in certain areas of campus and dispatching officers as required. Monitors burglar alarms, fire alarms, local law enforcement channels, hazardous waste information, Clemson University CU Safe Alert (Rave Mass Notification System) and SkyGuard Weather System via on-line notification. Dispatches officers as required.
15% - Essential - Documentation: Maintains documentation on Facility and Housing maintenance requests, as well as entering a work order online for the issue. Issues guests temporary parking passes and visitor parking passes per Parking and Transportation Services guidelines. Accepts parking fines after business hours. Documents key sign in and out for campus buildings and vehicles. Answers and dispatches safety escort calls for ser vice. Enters lost and found items into system database, as well as contacting owner of the property.
15% - Essential - Technical Skills: Possesses the necessary knowledge to effectively operate the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, multi-line telephone system, multi-channel radio console and other equipment within the Communications Center. Types using a computer keyboard.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience - A high school diploma and entry-level work experience with voice communications systems or central switchboard operations. An associate degree in a technical communications discipline may be substituted for the required experience.
SLED NCIC and SCCJA Basic 911 Certification required within 6 months of employment.

Among other duties University Police Officers are expected to:
* Protect life and property through the enforcement of state laws and university regulations.
* Proactively patrol assigned areas, address observed public safety situations, and respond to calls for service.
* Monitor and investigate suspicious activity in order to prevent crime and apprehend criminals.

The Administrative Operations Manager for the Arts Management Program provides broad administrative leadership and strategic support for all program areas, including the undergraduate major, minor, and graduate certificate. The Administrative Operations Manager directs multiple components of the program's internships, study abroad, and community engagement opportunities, serves as the program liaison to institutional offices and external partners, and leads marketing, communications, and event coordination efforts. This role is essential to the successful delivery, advancement, and long-term sustainability of the Arts Management Program's mission and strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience in arts management, higher education administration, nonprofit leadership, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in program coordination, student services, project or event management, or experiential learning is required. A Master's degree is beneficial but not required. Experience working in arts, cultural, or creative sectors is a plus. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and advanced organizational and planning skills. Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and various database and information systems. CBSHS has expanded its health-related research grants and expenditures significantly over the past five years with close to 70% of projects funded by a health-related sponsor. Given this growth, we are creating an associate dean position that focuses primarily on health sciences.
The Associate Dean for Health Sciences will serve at the pleasure of the Dean and will work with all units in the College in the areas of health research and strategic planning to provide leadership for the following College priorities: 1) increasing health science research focus and expenditures for the College; 2) contributing to implementation of CBSHS and Clemson Elevate strategic plans for health sciences; and 3) promoting CBSHS work that improves health outcomes for South Carolinians. Additionally, the Associate Dean for Health Sciences must be aware of the growth and changes that add to the complexities of the position and be willing and committed to identifying, developing, and garnering support for the College.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
The Associate Dean for Health Sciences is responsible for developing, promoting, assessing, and communicating health science activities for the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences. This includes developing a culture to facilitate and support health science research and collaborative activities; providing leadership and coordination for CBSHS centers and institutes; building and sustaining a significant health science research program with increased health research expenditures for CBSHS; and developing a sense of collaboration and innovation among the faculty and partners (internal and external) around health sciences.
Major responsibilities include: creating and sustaining up-to-date health research infrastructure support that enhances the focus and capabilities for health science research; increasing health science research expenditures for CBSHS; creating opportunities for health science collaborations and partnerships (internal and external); identifying and communicating core “niche” areas in health sciences for the College; supporting faculty in ways that increase their ability to develop competitive grant proposals in health sciences by working closely with the Associate Dean for Research; creating and communicating strategies for enhancing health science research and programmatic support; working closely with Clemson Rural Health on initiatives; leading CBSHS in establishing Clemson One Health partnerships; providing opportunities for faculty to continue building collaborative initiatives in health sciences - both within the College and across the University; and fostering a culture that links teaching, research and public service.
College Responsibilities
The Associate Dean for Health Sciences has overall responsibility for the following college-wide activities:
▪ Works with the Dean to collaborate with College leaders to develop major health sciences activities.
▪ Works with the Dean to develop and prioritize the College's federal priorities related to health sciences.
▪ Represents the Dean in the broader professional community and attends relevant meetings.
▪ Represents the Dean in the dean's absence, as needed.
▪ Represents the Dean on Clemson Elevate Pillar III, health science-related activities.
▪ Other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Clemson s Research Computing and Data (RCD) Infrastructure Team is looking for a CUI HPC Linux Systems Administrator to fulfill the following duties:
* Serve as an HPC Linux Systems Engineer for Clemson's Research Computing and Data (RCD) Infrastructure team.
* This position is primarily for supporting Controlled Unclassified Information high performance computing environments.
* Work with multiple research computing systems including the Granite Secure Enclave HPC system and the Palmetto II HPC system.
* Deploy and maintain Linux systems and services, as well as provide technical and engineering support to research computing initiatives.
* This position requires applying NIST 800-171 controls, and applying and maintaining controls to covered information systems.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
60% - Essential - System Administration:
Implement, maintain and troubleshoot Linux systems and software critical for the operation of University Research Initiatives HPC resources. Provide expertise and maintenance of System Security Services Daemon (SSSD), Duo, LDAPS, and other authentication mechanisms used in Granite secure enclave, and other RCD systems. Provide support for HPC job schedulers and scientific software.
20% - Essential - Compliance & Risk Management:
Apply NIST 800-171 assessment objectives as appropriate to the covered information system. Conduct monthly risk and compliance reviews of covered information system to ensure adherence to regulated research policies and security practices. Track and document compliance status, identifying and mitigating non-compliance risks as they arise. Support and enforce change management processes, ensuring that all modifications to covered information system hardware, software, configurations, and encryptions align with NIST 800-171 assessment objectives, and that all changes are requested, authorized, and documented. Track and manage hardware, software and firmware assets, ensuring they are inventoried and managed according to NIST 800-171 assessment objectives. Verify that all assets have proper security controls in place and are regularly updated and reviewed. Assist in the identification of security incidents. Contribute to incident handling, tracking, response, and documentation.
15% - Essential - Systems Automation:
Maintain and develop configuration management code to ensure the consistency of deployed systems and services. Maintain and document Linux system provisioning tools.
5% - Essential - On Call:
Participate in the RCDI on-call rotation which requires being on-call 24 hours per day for 7 days at a time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
Work Experience - Experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred Education - Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred Work Experience - 1-3 years working knowledge and abilities in IT concepts, practices and procedures. Have advanced Linux OS experience and basic knowledge of networking concepts. 3+ Linux System Administration/Hardening, configuration management experience, general knowledge of filesystem concepts, Strong written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DUTIES:
30% - Essential - Athletic Training:
Responsible for the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses; as well as day to day operation of the assigned team. Implement individualized therapeutic interventions and utilizes manual therapy techniques in treatment of SA. Participate in staff meetings, student athlete onboarding and physicals. Applies protective devices and equipment. Manages daily and weekly cleaning of the Jervey Athletic Training Room and satellites as assigned. Represents Clemson Athletics at university, conference and national organizations.
30% - Essential - Medical Care and Treatment:
Evaluate injuries and develop treatment and exercise plans within the scope of practice under the guidance of supervising team physician. Manage treatment scheduling and external medical care. Identifies and refers SA to nutritional or mental health providers when concerns arise.
25% - Essential - Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintains all medical records and injury reports on Student-Athletes. Maintain/update rehabilitation progress reports and care delivered in the EMR System (ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance). Maintains communication and a cooperative relationship with coaches, administrators, parents and student-athletes.

Collaborates with performance staff to ensure student-athletes are receiving the necessary medical care and assist student-athlete to meet their performance goal.
