IT Systems Administrator

This role will play an important role in providing IT support, systems administration, and information security management within Signiant's cloud-first corporate environment. This position involves supporting Windows and mac OS endpoints, performing systems administration des for an on-premises Windows Server domain environment, administering Microsoft 365 infrastructure including Azure Active Directory, and administering, supporting and troubleshooting Signiant's third-party cloud applications. This position will also be responsible for maintaining corporate asset inventories, internal technical documentation, and user-facing documentation, as well as assisting with IT projects and ongoing initiatives. Requirements
Essential functions
Provide IT help desk support for a cloud-first corporate environment
Support and troubleshoot issues for Windows and mac OS platforms
Perform system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting duties for an on-premises Windows Server and Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure
Administer, manage, and optimize Microsoft Office 365, including Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
Assist in the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security hardening of Signiant's VMware Cloud infrastructure hosted in AWS
Proactively manage and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, access points, site-to-site VPNs, and client VPNs
Assist with vendor selection, assessments, evaluations, and renewal discussions
Oversee corporate IT asset lifecycle management, including maintaining asset inventories, distributing new devices to end users, and coordinating secure recycling of retired devices
Develop, maintain, and enhance internal IT documentation, including runbooks, checklists, and proactive maintenance processes and procedures
Create, maintain, and distribute user-facing documentation, such as instructions and guides
Administer and test backup platforms
Assist in oversight of videoconferencing/teleconferencing platforms in Signiant's corporate offices
Collaborate with other teams to help optimize business processes, integrations, and workflow automations to enhance reliability, security, and efficiency
Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed, including platform evaluations and migrations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 2-5 years of experience administering, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the following:
- Windows Server domain environments
- Microsoft 365, including Entra ID
- Hyper-V and/or VMware infrastructures
Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, network switches, site-to-site VPN, and client VPN
Experience working within an IT Service Management Platform (ITSM) such as Jira SM, ZenDesk, Connectwise, or ServiceNow
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her designated route and to the disposal site; read route sheet, follow map and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.

Job Description
The
