Overview:
Provides administrative support for the operational departments which includes working with timekeeping systems and reports, staffing plans an hour allocation. Maintains tracking of all equipment and supplies for all operational departments. Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

  • Handle Kronos and timekeeping issues including verifying rosters each day
  • Create and developing reporting tools to assist business needs.
  • Collect data using system information including, WM, LM, PM and Kronos
  • Assist with staffing plans and hours allocation
  • Handle paperwork and reporting
  • Printing packing labels as needed
  • Manage the equipment room
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
  • Adhere to conveyor lockout procedures.
  • Work on elevated platforms and conveyor systems.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of two years of administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.

CPRS Physical Therapy is currently seeking a Full-Time Clerical Staff Associate to float to our Northern Offices in and around Northumberland and Snyder Counties. Some even hours and reliable transportation is required. CPRS offers a higher hourly rate for positions in which staff cover offices in a float role. The qualified individual is responsible for but not limited to the daily operation of the office and other duties as delegated by the Clinic Manager. CPRS is a Medicare certified outpatient private practice that provides physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, occupational health and wellness services throughout the Central Pennsylvania Regional and surrounding areas. CPRS Physical Therapy offers a competitive total compensation package, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life, and 401(k). EOE


Standard Office Hours:

Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 9 am - 7 pm

Tuesday/Friday: 7 am - 12 pm


Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with computers and be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with medical terminology and medical billing is recommended, but not required.

Specific Functions and Duties:

  • Perform physical demands of the position including:
    • Walking up to 1-3 hours per day

  • Accurately takes demographic information, copies insurance cards and obtains valid prescriptions for therapy from clients to ensure proper billing and handling of patient accounts.
  • Answers phones following the clinic guidelines with a courteous and respectful tone.
  • Addresses client questions, complaints, and requests in a timely, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Obtains insurance benefits, authorizations, and referrals from insurance companies and communicates pertinent information to the treating therapist(s) and billing staff.
  • Schedules patients following clinic specific guidelines while ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Maintains patient records by following clinic specific guidelines for filing and returning clinical correspondences/documentation (Initial Evaluations, Re-Certifications, Discharges, etc).
  • Reviews and maintains prescription tracking and authorization status using the auth/Rx module. Communicates pertinent information with the therapist(s) to ensure compliance with industry and CPRS standards.
  • Submits all demographic information and replies to discrepancy information requests to Billing & Collections Office for processing in a timely fashion.
  • Assists in tracking MIAs as needed by clinic location guidelines.
  • Receives patient payments in cash, check, and credit cards.
  • Participates in marketing and community events as directed by Clinic Manager/Executive Management.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
