Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible.

Essential Functions
* Assists the Office Manager and Executive Director in the preparation of reports.
* Inputs case activity data in agency database, transfers and migrates board agent spreadsheet data to database; generates a variety of case reports.

The Illinois House of Representatives seeks a Committee Clerk within the Office of the Clerk. This is atemporary, contractual position through May 31, 2026, with some evening and weekend work times requiredbased on the legislatures schedule. This position is located in Springfield, Illinois.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Recording and maintaining audio for each committee hearing;
Ensuring proper motions and procedures are followed in committees;
Recording legislative actions on legislation;
Collecting and maintaining all documents that were distributed in a committee;
Responding to public requests for information;
Copying, assembling, and distributing committee records;
Preparing committee rooms for a hearing;
Transcribing legislative debates; and
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent (some college preferred);
Very strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
$18 an hour.
