Uses the library automated circulation system to circulate materials and perform a variety of clerical tasks. Answers library users' reference and reader's advisory questions in person and on the telephone, using materials in a variety of formats (i.e., books, databases, periodicals, newspapers, and indexes) including the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and the Internet. Maintains a working knowledge of the materials collections, services, and trends in library services. Shelves materials as necessary. Qualifications: High school degree with three years of relevant experience. Is skilled in using technology, computers, and software applications, including Microsoft Office products, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
