Summary of Responsibilities
* Contributes toward the development and continuous improvement of equipment. Develop and execute the implementation of long and short term improvement plans.
* Utilizes appropriate failure analysis techniques to determine root causes of failures and initiates necessary corrective action to eliminate/reduce such failures.
* Develop understanding or existing PLC programs on all equipment. Program and implement PLC modifications as corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
* Will provide engineering expertise in the day-to-day support in troubleshooting and resolving problems (afterhours as required) with PLC's with various supporting instrumentation and motor speed control devices.
* Will program, configure and tune both PLC's and motor (AC and DC) drives in relation to manufacturing process control systems.
* Works closely with Project Engineering, ensures drawings are updated in keeping with equipment modifications, provides counsel for equipment redesign and performance.
* Coordinates requirements, standards, and procedures for the operations of the equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
