Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the EEG (Electroencephalogram) Technologist Apprentice functions as a trainee and follows established policies and procedures to support functions essential to the operations of the Epilepsy Center. The EEG Technologist Apprentice will receive training and instruction in performing electroencephalographic examinations and/or epilepsy monitoring. The apprenticeship program will help build, develop, and train aspiring individuals into a successful healthcare career. The apprenticeship will start Monday, March 23,2026. It is recommended all candidates submit current resume with work history with the application. Shift & Schedule-Full-time: Initial training will begin on 1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM for 8-12 weeks Monday-Friday). Thereafter, training will be third shift (11PM-7:30AM) including every other weekend and holiday. Applicants must have availability to work Third Shifts as well as every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday for the duration of the apprenticeship (One full year). A caregiver who excels in this role will: * Evaluate animals upon arrival and during the quarantine period. * Administer medical treatments to animals. * Assist the Veterinarian, investigators and animal caregivers with performing technical procedures. * Monitor the conditions of post-operative animals and animals requiring veterinary care. * Develop and implement animal health treatment plans and communicate the plan to research personnel. * Maintain accurate records. * Perform the duties of an Animal Surgery Technician and assist Veterinarians and investigators by performing special surgical, medical or experimental techniques or procedures. * Assist the Veterinarians with the Sentinel Health Monitoring Program and works with minimal supervision on Veterinary Services programs and projects.
