Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute announces a search for a BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders to join our multi-disciplinary group practice in Northeast Ohio. Cleveland Clinic's Center for Neurological Restoration features a Movement Disorder and Functional Neurosurgery Section recognized as one of the largest integrated clinical-research programs in the country. Our collaborative multi-disciplinary programs have been designated as the state of Ohio's only Parkinson Disease Center of Excellence, the region's Huntington Disease Center of Excellence and Atypical Parkinsonism Center of Care.
Our signature multi-disciplinary clinics include shared medical visits for newly diagnosed PD patients, gait clinic, functional movement disorders clinic, comprehensive HD clinic, palliative care clinic, atypical parkinsonism clinic, and our technologically enhanced "waiting room of the future". Our deep brain stimulation surgery, high-frequency ultrasound and neurotoxin injection volumes are amongst the highest in the entire east coast and mid-west region in the United States. Research-wise, our Center's infrastructure support includes: 3 research administrators, a dedicated recruitment coordinator, 23 full-time research coordinators, a lead outcomes researcher, a data scientist and 3 biostatisticians, along with active collaborations from genetics, biomarker, neurophysiology, and biomedical researchers from Cleveland Clinic's Lerner Research Institute. Our highly integrated and supportive obstetric team consists of Hospitalist/Laborist, OB/GYN Hospitalists, OB/GYN Generalists, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and Residents. The Hospitalist/Laborist role involves managing the obstetric unit, participating in labor management, obstetric triage and support of maternal fetal medicine service. The Hospitalist/Laborist also provides support and consultation to midwifery and Family Medicine services.

Cleveland Clinic's G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is an 8-bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24-bed internal medicine unit. Patients in this unit have a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and complex multi-system failure. Caregivers float to both sides of the unit, so you will have one foot in medicine and one foot in critical care.
A caregiver in this position works rotating shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
* Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.

Cleveland Clinic's G81 ENT/Plastics & Internal Medicine Unit is an 8-bed ENT/Plastics specialty stepdown unit and a 24-bed internal medicine unit. Patients in this unit have a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, such as head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis and complex multi-system failure. Caregivers float to both sides of the unit, so you will have one foot in medicine and one foot in critical care.
A caregiver in this position works nights, 7:00pm-7:30am.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
* Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
* Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).
* Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
* Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.

Caregivers on our H81 Internal Medicine Telemetry Unit care for adult patients with complex multi-system failure issues, such as congestive heart failure and sepsis, or require ongoing cardiac monitoring. This unit also has a closed observation pod, where caregivers look after patients who need an extra level of care.
A caregiver in this position works day/night rotation, from 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am.
