A caregiver who excels in this role will: * Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures. * Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. * Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. * Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. * Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. * Maintain documentation. * Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator. * Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
