**A caregiver in this position works 7:30am - 4:00pm.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Provide diagnostic evaluation of pulmonary function in patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
+ Perform ordered pulmonary function testing according to latest ATS/ERS standards and understand criteria required for sending test results.
+ Perform and analyze quality control data and perform advanced invasive or noninvasive protocols.
+ Prepare, maintain, and calibrate pulmonary function testing equipment.
+ Maintain adequate levels of supplies used for testing.
+ Provide educational in-services to caregivers.
+ Perform blood gas puncture and analysis per Cleveland Clinic competency training.
+ Monitor and evaluate patient response during and after testing.
+ Documents results accurately and promptly report testing results.
+ Determine testing reference ranges by entering accurate demographics.
+ Recognize and correct invalid or unreasonable test results with an understanding of current ATS/ERS standards.
+ Provide basic respiratory education to patients.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program

A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00PM - 7:00AM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Gather data using closed circuit audio/visual equipment and electrophysiological recording instruments.
* Utilize electrophysiological recording instruments using both surface recording electrodes and electrophysiological recording instruments.
* Perform record keeping data using the computer and maintain daily logs of patients' status.
* Use critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to work with minimal supervision.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics or related patient care field
* OR two years of patient care experience (may substitute for Associate's Degree)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
* One year experience as a Non-Registered EEG Technician OR first year completion of an Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics
* First year completion of an Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics
* American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) credentialing for Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) within two years of hire

Vascular Medicine / Cardiology The Section of Vascular Medicine in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking to recruit a Staff Physician for an outstanding opportunity.
We are the largest and one of the oldest vascular medicine departments in the U.S., with 16 staff physician and 4 advanced practice providers, seeing approximately 15,000 outpatients annually at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and at 15 regional locations. We also see around 1800 hospital consultations annually. Our section manages the acute Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT), and we operate non-invasive vascular laboratory for the entire enterprise (around 55,000 studies annually).
The incumbent will be trained and certified in vascular medicine and preferably also cardiology to enable them and treat patients in the outpatient setting, on our hospital consultation service, and read noninvasive vascular laboratory studies. A priority is for the incumbent to contribute to the thriving academic mission of the Section of Vascular Medicine.
Our clinicians have special expertise in thrombosis, fibromuscular dysplasia, aneurysmal disease, vein disease, lymphedema, and platelet dysfunction. We have a well-established vascular medicine fellowship with 4 fellows annually, a nascent thrombosis fellowship with one fellow annually, and a thriving research program funded by the federal government and foundation grants.
