Tech Providers client account manager job description

Lead the implementation of an updated comprehensive process for stale dating checks, completing due diligence, and guiding team on resolving unclaimed property within the Controller group.

Respond to internal and external clients, states, and other regulatory agencies regarding unclaimed property.

Work directly with the Assistant Controller and AP Manager during the monthly close process to enter expense accruals, review prepaid items, review account variances, and other duties as requested.

Evaluate PeopleSoft upgrades and enhancements related to Accounts Payable and Expenses. Present recommendations to senior Finance and ICT leadership.

Develop workflow to accommodate check requests from other sources in order to consolidate processes across the Company.

Work with and train employees involved in tasks associated with unclaimed property and escheatment process.
Complete monthly general ledger reconciliations involved in tracking and unclaimed property. Ensure that accurate amount of funds are transferred to corporate general ledger account on monthly basis for escheatment. Perform other related duties and or projects related to position.
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Effective organization and planning skills. - Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficient Microsoft user of Excel and Word. Good Analytical Skills - Excellent Teamwork and the ability to lead projects.
Bachelor' s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance or like discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have at least five years of work experience in accounting/finance preferably in a Corporate Accounts Payable role. - At least two years of direct experience with escheatment and/or unclaimed property is preferred, but not required.
