Qualifications:
ATTITUDE— Candidate must demonstrate a “Yes, If” rather than “I Can’t” demeanor. They must be open, and show a willingness to ask questions, learn and be coached. They must be willing to grow and have an understanding that acceptance of challenges is the way to meet company and personal goals. They must demonstrate excitement, integrity, and respect.
BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS— Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of how to use Word, e-mail, texting, and have internet at home for staff meetings and training.
BASIC PHONE SKILLS-- Candidate must demonstrate politeness, proper English, clarity and diction, empathy and sincerity, active listening and call control.
GOOD DRIVING RECORD— must have clear and current Driver’s License with NO moving violations.
USE OF OWN CAR— must have their own SUV type vehicle with closed cab large enough to transport 3-4 large dogs for evening transport. YPS will supply appropriate insurance, safety guards and seat covers as well as pay mileage to cover gas and wear and tear.
Job Description:
The Client Services Assistant is responsible for administrative duties in support of these functions: customer service, reservations, retail inventory, processing invoices & payments, and processing new client information. Additionally, they are responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the reception/retail area. The Client Services Assistant reports to the Client Services Assistant Manager.
The Client Services Assistant is able to operate independently requiring little or no direct supervision.
Primary Duties
- Demonstrates ability to perform at an efficient level as an office assistant.
- Reports any problems or situations as they arise from staff or clients to the manager on duty.
- Demonstrates ability to complete each day’s tasks in a timely manner.
- Most days, will transport select client dogs to their homes at end of day.
- Some days will pickup kennel/office supplies or run errands as directed by manager on duty.
- Some days, will be asked to take select client dogs for off site walks.
Genuine caring for pets among their work teams.
