We are looking for a Client Specialist to join Bernstein's Private Wealth Management team to support the onboarding of clients across all 19 domestic offices. This dynamic role will require candidates to work closely with our internal teams with a specific focus on opening new accounts. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to partner with Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Associates to handle all aspects of onboarding new high net worth clients. Specialists will walk internal partners through the opening process to complete the required documentation and share their expertise about various types of entities to ensure an exceptional client experience.
Client Specialists will:
Partner with internal business partners in the onboarding of new clients in Private Wealth Management at Bernstein. The Client Specialist will onboard and provide service and support functions to set up new accounts by facilitating the coordination of all aspects of the account creation process Partner with Private Wealth Associates on all aspects of onboarding process to ensure superior client service throughout the process, all client's first interaction with the firm Facilitate the coordination of the transfer of assets from other firms to Bernstein through proactive and diligent review of our transfer process Coordinate with team members in our Legal and Compliance Departments to handle any documentation related account opening items and obtain final approval of new accounts

Job Qualifications
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and possess experience working in client service. Candidates should be client-focused, proactive and creative thinkers, and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere. They should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and an ability to build internal and external relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with SIE and Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Extensive client contact , involved in all activities that align with prospective and existing clients

+ Performs account maintenance including money transfer requests, address changes, etc

+ Serves as liaison and between sales team, compliance, and other business lines throughout the firm

The Client Specialist is the key provider of customer care acting as liaison between clients and our technical laboratory staff. In this position, you will provide our clients with outstanding customer service using excellent communications skills and automated information systems. Must be able to analyze the customers' needs, setup accounts, ensure correct analysis is performed, and transmit the final report of analysis with necessary training.
Job Functions

Communicate with clients, answering or routing questions as appropriate and liaison between client and technical laboratory staff.

Set up new client accounts in the LIMS and in conjunction with Accounting Department; periodically updating client account information as needed.

Receive and log submitted testing samples, identifying sample priority, verifying sample information, noting special requests and instructions. This includes routine, daily samples, special projects and retrieving samples for retesting or additional tests as requested.

Issue reports, certificates, certificate revisions and document accordingly to meet client needs and within SGS guidelines.

Transfer laboratory test information from LIMS to Accounting for invoicing after verifying for accuracy.

Train and convert clients to usage of website for results and information.

Inform management staff of all customer concerns.

Maintain records, files and related to duties.
