• Lead the solution architecture design on Cummins projects and programs
• Support BUs by conveying industry trends, enterprise technology strategy and define technical solutions which meet the business requirement and deliver reference architecture as needed.
• Design innovative solutions to business problems and enhancement requests, taking full account of existing system design constraints.
• Conduct architecture impact analysis of identified changes by business and ensure optimal solution selection for business process improvements.
• Work with enterprise architects, project teams, functional and technical analysts to design solution architecture that meets operational requirements and is scalable, easily maintained, secure and highly available.
• Ensure solutions are production ready and meet the organization standards and partner with the project teams to oversee the implementation of the solution.

Technical Skills:

• The manager would like a person who has experience in more than one module of Oracle EBS- not someone who is just highly specialized in one type of module as they will be required to work on different business solutions . Also this person is not going to be responsible for just designing a solution but will need to function at a level where they can speak to how pieces of technology can be used to build the solution that is needed. The role will NOT be to work with developers but providing information on how the technologies that Cummins wants to use can be harnessed to solve the business problem at hand.
