What You Will Do
* Removal, repair and installation of electrical components, electrical systems, analysis and diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting and systems/process optimization; may mentor or train other electrical workers
* Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description
Lead Cook is generally in charge of food production. The Lead Cook assumes all the duties of the absent Motel Management. Responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion/cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.
* Plan recipes and menus and maintains Company standards of food quality, presentation and cost management
* Assist monitoring and coaching kitchen staff
* Assist in scheduling kitchen staff in conjunction with caterings and deliveries
* Train kitchen staff in food production principles and practices and ensure that all recipes and food production practices are followed
* Train staff on food preparation and ingredients
* Enforce purchasing specifications, storeroom requisition systems, product storage requirements, standardization recipes and waste control procedures
* Evaluate current practices and processes; and initiate ways to improve current business methods, quality of products and services provided to the customers
* Have a full understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
* Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
* Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Post-secondary Culinary Arts training program completion OR at least two (2) years of experience in Food Preparation
* Must be able to obtain Arizona Food Handler's Card within one (1) month of employment

* High School diploma or GED

* Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
