How you'll create opportunities in this Reimbursement Senior role: Coordinate, prepare, and review Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. Assist with reimbursement related consulting projects. Maintain a working knowledge of rules and regulations of the Medicare program and State Medicaid programs. Research various topics, as necessary, related to Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Develop familiarity with methods of payment by managed care organizations. Assist with the development of services to provide to clients and potential clients to positively impact revenue. Become actively involved in practice management, i.e. participating in professional organizations and associations which develop/build relationships with clients, potential customers, and industry leaders, etc. Assist with the training and development of staff. What you will need: 4 years of relevant experience required. Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement preferred. Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training maybe accepted in lieu of degree. Degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Knowledge of Medicare program and state Medicaid program rules and regulations. Knowledge of Medicare cost report software such as, Health Financial Systems.
