What We're Looking For:
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
Other Qualifications: Current BLS certification, American Heart Association only.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a RegisteredNurse in the Emergency Room, you are responsible to triage, assess and treat patients of all ages presenting for emergency care. We provide timely, compassionate care for patients with emergency and life-threatening conditions. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
To become a Commissioned Officer in the Nurse Corps, qualifications include:
U.S. Citizen between the ages of 18 and 41
Currently licensed and practicing nursing in the U.S. (new graduates must obtain a license within one year of beginning Active Duty service)
In good standing (as a student or graduate) with a CCNE-accredited U.S. education program granting a
Bachelor of Science degree
General qualifications may vary depending upon whether youre currently serving, whether youve served before or whether youve never served before.
PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES
There are part-time opportunities as a Reserve Navy Nurse. Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Nurse, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Nurse Corps Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Charge RN for a Med/Surg unit night shift position requiring prior charge and Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities
Work in a 10-bed Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, rotating every other weekend
Maximum nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5
Requires occasional floating to assist other departments in emergency situations
No on-call responsibilities
Uses CPSI charting system; prior experience not required as training is provided
This is a Charge RN position with oversight and coordination responsibilities for the MS unit
Strictly no RTO (Requested Time Off) permitted during the contract
Must provide two professional references for consideration
Team support available during orientation and throughout the assignment
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum two years of RN experience with previous charge experience required
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred
Willing to accept first-time travelers
