What You Will Bring to the Role
At least 5+ years of extensive experience in conducting security incident response and forensic analysis, with a focus on real-world threat mitigation.
Hands-on expertise in obtaining and applying Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), using Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to detect and prevent threats.
Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS v4, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS Controls and RAM, GLBA, HIPAA/HITECH.
Technical project management skills, capable of leading security initiatives effectively.
Proficiency with forensic analysis tools and malware analysis, with an understanding of Active Directory, network protocols, and cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Familiarity with hardware, operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows), network devices, and protocols.
Ability to analyze complex problems, resolve security issues proactively, and communicate solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCFP, CCE, CHFI, CISA, or CISM are highly desirable.
Recent hands-on incident response experience (minimum of 2+ years), with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Residency in the specified region; travel to designated offices or locations for orientation and occasional meetings if required.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus
Programming skills in languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Prior experience with SIEM tools.
Computer forensic expertise and malware reverse engineering.
Familiarity with Active Directory and security GRC protocols.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.

Your Role & Impact

+ This is a hybrid role, involving a combination of in-office and remote work each week.
+ The weekly hybrid schedule will be determined by the manager based on departmental needs.
What You'll Do:
+ Identify opportunities to leverage technology solutions to address business challenges and improve efficiency
+ Develop and maintain the Legal technology roadmap; monitor and evaluate its effectiveness in meeting organizational goals
+ Lead and support multiple technology projects, including assessing new solutions, system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with business stakeholders
+ Manage implementation of system upgrades and enhancements to align with departmental goals
+ Ensure compliance with security requirements and oversee implementation for approved software solutions
+ Create and manage technical project plans, schedules, and resources, including requirements, specifications, and design documentation
+ Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders; facilitate decision-making and resolve technical challenges
+ Analyze and document complex workflows and automation within the department technology platforms
+ Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, design reviews, progress updates, and closure activities
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services -OR- a combination of equivalent education, skills and relevant experience
+ 10 or more years of experience as a business systems analyst role supporting pillar of focus
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 or more years of deep business knowledge/experience within any pillar of focus application
+ 5 or more years of Project or Product Management experience; use of toolkits
+ 5 or more years of experience working within corporate legal, risk, or compliance teams.
+ Proven expertise in decision-making, prioritization, conflict resolution, community building, and delivering on commitments.
+ Strong ability to define hypotheses, requirements, metrics, and applications in collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders.
+ Skilled in analyzing complex systems and interpreting large-scale, high-dimensional data from diverse sources using advanced tools and techniques.
+ Expert-level knowledge of Agile methodologies.
+ Preferred experience with tools such as iManage, Riskonnect, and Legal Tracker.
+ Demonstrated success in supporting new initiatives and a solid understanding of technology tools and applications commonly used in Legal, Risk, or Compliance environments.

+ Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36
+ Washington - Vancouver: Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36
