Description
As a member of Apple's commercial litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, including experience with competition-related litigation, subpoenas, and other investigations.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technology interest and aptitude.
Trial experience and experience beyond competition related litigation.
Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,300 and $271,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Job Summary
The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS) is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of CaseManager for the Recovery Court Program with Loudoun County.
This full-time position is a member of the CaseManagement Program and will provide targeted casemanagement services to adults participating in the Recovery Court program who are on supervised probation and meet classification for substance use dependence. Targeted CaseManagement is an intensive, community-based service occurring within the individual's natural settings including their home.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge, experience, and skills in:
Supporting individuals with substance use disorders and mental illness.
Provision of casemanagement services.
Assessing an individual's strengths and needs.
Conducting comprehensive psycho-social needs assessments.
Developing and implementing a recovery-oriented treatment plan.

Facilitating intra-agency and interagency coordination.

Minimum Qualifications

As part of the ACE Leadership Team, Supervisory CaseManagers help craft and implement strategy while ensuring that team members provide mission-driven supportive services that align with the core values of the program and the division.
About DHS
The mission of the DHS is to provide meaningful and equitable services, supports, and access to resources for District residents to realize their goals. Our approach to preventing homelessness and supporting individuals and/or families experiencing homelessness is focused both on systems-level reforms and on the quality of the programs and supports within that system. These efforts include creating economic opportunity, making our neighborhoods safer, and providing more effective and efficient government services. The Family Services Administration (FSA) helps individuals and families experiencing homelessness, people with low income, adults at-risk for abuse or neglect, teenage parents, families experiencing challenging times and refugees to become stable and fully self-sufficient through an array of social services, assessments and case-management and crisis-intervention.
The Youth Services Division (YSD) offers free services and supports for youth to strengthen families, mitigate risks related to housing instability, improve school attendance, stabilize youth in crisis, and decrease court involvement. YSD includes several flagship programs and engages youth, their families, community-based providers, and District agencies to address challenging behaviors and circumstances. One of these flagship programs is the ACE Diversion program, which is the single front door for juvenile court diversions for lower level offenses and young people struggling with school truancy, giving families an opportunity to receive wraparound casemanagement services in lieu of any formal court proceedings or juvenile record.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides direct supervision to the designated staff performing casemanagement or a combination of functions. Ensures that overall services are provided in a manner that supports the goals of the DHS administration or office. Ensures that the specific goals of the program are implemented, and services provided in accordance with agency policies, procedures and Federal and District legislation. Ensures that services to families are appropriate given the family's needs, link to additional support services provided through community-based programs may be required. Ensures that services to families are provided through a process of teamwork, that will provide an opportunity for the participation of family members and other concerned adults in effort to remediate problems.
Performs a variety of analytical and evaluative duties relative to planned and operational programs dealing with program activities. Guides in the implementation of performance standards for designated staff. Handles disciplinary programs and assumes leadership for incentive awards. Compiles routine and special statistical and narrative reports. Analyzes statistics and from analyses makes recommendations for use in planning, problem-solving, and staff assignments. Adapts and revises the formal for reports, as required. Reviews cases to ensure completion of records in compliance with policies and procedures and periodically makes adjustments in work assigned to casemanagers/social workers to balance workloads.
Qualifications and Education
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

The CPS Evening Shift I&A Specialist will be responsible for responding to emergency situations and providing crisis intervention, as well as investigating serious reports of abuse or neglect-including sexual abuse, human trafficking, and out-of-family incidents.
