CLINICIAL SUPERVISOR - BAKARI CENTER
Exciting opportunity to work in a therapeutic milieu environment serving youth at State licensed residential care center serving male youth, ages 13-17. The Clinical Milieu Supervisor is focused on supporting youth and guiding staff in creating a positive, motivating treatment milieu. This role supports supervising staff, promoting the agreements and assumptions of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and fostering staff's clinical skill development. This role includes providing critical support to staff, helping them navigate the evolving nature of their daily responsibilities while ensuring a collaborative and supportive program culture. This includes teaching and role modeling skills, staff supervision, providing training, and serving as role model for staff.
Essential Functions:
Provide clinical leadership for operations team and role model for Lead Youth Treatment Specialists and Youth Treatment Specialists.
Supervise the milieu implementation of therapy by supporting therapeutic interactions through coaching staff on skill use throughout daily activities, modeling appropriate behavior, teaching and reinforcing use and generalization of skills through a token economy system.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure youth's emotional and behavioral health needs are met and youth treatment specialists are carrying out treatment plans.
Provide one-to-one supervision of Lead Youth Treatment Specialists and Treatment Specialists to ensure professional growth and development and youth treatment plans are followed and regularly communicate with staff.
Use evidence-based best practices for youth with mental health, substance use and life needs.This includes the innovative Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, youth centered, and culturally reverent approaches while celebrating youth's development and identity.
Co-facilitate Dialectical Behavior Therapy groups and other group topics pertaining to healthy relationships, fatherhood, independent living skills, substance use education, and cultural identity development curriculums.
Assist with interviewing and hiring program staff and assist with mediating staff and youth complaints, concerns and grievances.
Write and deliver staff performance evaluations and staff coaching and disciplinary actions.
Providing coverage for clinical staff including individual sessions, facilitating various groups and managing behavior protocols.
Lead and participate in staff meetings, daily shift transition meetings and program planning sessions to develop and implement engaging activities that motivate staff and align with program goals.
Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions for staff to improve their understanding of their roles and responsibilities, and problem-solve personnel concerns with the management team.
Calmly and responsibly respond during crisis situations and intervene to de-escalate using trained and approved methods and techniques of verbal and physical intervention to maintain safety in the environment.
Assist with authoring and facilitating staff training on clinical topics such as developmental theories, suicide, mental health diagnoses, substance use, treatment model and other topics for new staff training and ongoing training hours.
Co-facilitate parent education groups and engage families in programming.
Participate in QA/QI projects such as curriculum review, measures to ensure fidelity to programming, reviewing clinical work for fidelity and other performance improvement projects as identified.
Fulfill on-call rotation of services and responsibilities for management and staffing needs, clinical questions, staffing concerns and programmatic needs
Interact with youth in a professional, positive and therapeutic manner according to policy, procedure, training and agency values.
Observe and document youth participation in activities and interactions with others per program standards (youth logs and youth related reports) in an electronic database.
Ensure that all staff who work with residents are aware of the requirements of Wisconsin Chapter DCF 52 and ensure that staff are aware of the requirements of s. 48.78 or 938.78, Stats., s. 51.30, Stats., and Ch. DHS 92 on confidentiality and s. 51.61, Stats., and Ch. DHS 94 on patient rights and the rights otherwise accorded under DHS 34 and the criminal and civil penalties for violating those statutes and rules.
Maintain youth and family confidentiality within all written and verbal communications

Minimal Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university.
Current state of licensure as an Advanced Practicing Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or agreement to have minimally training licensure within 90 days of hire.
A minimum of three (3) years in youth services programming working with youth with mental health and substance use needs, with at least one (1) year working in a clinical, supervisory, or administrative role.

Ambulatory Surgery Center Clinician
• Provide onsite comprehensive and coordinated care for post-operative patients in the surgery center, including instruction and exercise.
• Ensure orthopedic devices such as braces, immobilizers, wraps, supports, etc. fit the patient properly.
• Evaluate when the patient is safe to leave the surgery center post-surgery.
• Transport post-operative patients from surgery center to vehicle to assist and educate them on how to get in and out of vehicle.

This position is responsible for reviewing the physician's daily schedule and obtaining verification of patients' insurance benefits for their scheduled visits. They will also obtain authorization for all requested procedures, tests, drugs, etc.
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Receives chemotherapy orders and reviews for compendia compliance, submits for authorization.
+ Ensures compendia compliance and obtains all required authorization and referral information for patients' treatments.
+ Receives authorization for in-house and outpatient procedures and documenting it in the patient medical record.
+ Communicates effectively with the Billing and Office Managers as well as billing and clinical staff to ensure appropriate treatment can be provided, claims can be processed accurately and timely payment received.
+ Maintains detailed notes in patients' electronic records.
+ Reviews schedules daily and ensures appropriate insurance and authorization has been obtained and documented.
+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality for patients in accordance to HIPAA standards.
+ Ensures patients are contacted prior to appointments to inform them of treatment schedule changes if necessary and when appropriate.
+ Become familiar with up-to-date NCCN guidelines.
+ Effectively completes other duties and projects as assigned.
