Job Title: Unblinded Clinical Research Coordinator
Pay Range: Up to $27 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 90-day contract with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and trial needs.
Position Summary:
This full-time role supports the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, with a strong focus on Investigational Product (IP) management while maintaining study integrity between blinded and unblinded staff. The Unblinded CRC serves as the subject-matter expert for IP handling and works closely with the Site Manager, study team, sponsors, and participants to ensure compliance with protocols and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of Investigational Product (receipt, storage, dispensing, administration, accountability, and return/destruction)
Maintaining the study blind and communicating appropriately with blinded and unblinded team members
Conducting patient-facing visits, including vitals, ECGs, lab collection, and protocol-required procedures
Completing accurate source documentation and EDC entry within required timelines
Monitoring study activities for regulatory and protocol compliance
Recording and reporting adverse events and resolving sponsor queries
Participating in site audits, monitor visits, investigator meetings, and site initiation visits
Maintaining temperature logs, pharmacy binders, and master study logs
This position reports directly to the Site Manager/Director and plays a critical role in ensuring studies run smoothly and compliantly.
Required Qualifications:
Recent, heavy hands-on injection or vaccine administration experience, including independent injection administration in accordance with medication protocols
Patient-facing clinical experience (Medical Assistant, Clinical Research Assistant, Research Assistant, LPN, etc.)
Ability to work directly with study participants in a clinical setting
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
Ability to complete source documentation during patient visits and enter data into EDC within required timelines
Ability to follow study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Basic understanding of GCP and FDA regulations (training acceptable)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Ability to start ASAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
Unblinded CRC or Investigational Product (IP) management experience

The Manager of the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a full-time onsite position and will provide the management and direction for both clinical and administrative functions of the Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Manager is responsible for clinical and evidence-based program/milieu planning and operation, customer service, standards and contract compliance and monitoring, and the development of applicable policies and procedures. The Manager also assists with the fiscal accountability of the program.
CSU's mission is to use an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, residential counselors, medical staff and admissions staff to provide brief, 3-5 day, crisis stabilization treatment for children and youth with behavioral health issues, including depression, suicidal thoughts, and other trauma reactions. Our team coordinates treatment and provides tools and safety planning for children/youth and families so that they can safely return to their homes and the community. We are committed to serving Colorado's children/youth while maintaining a non-judgmental and inclusive approach.
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field required.
Clinical License Required: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LP.
Five or more years' related experience in the field with children/youth, preferably in a crisis or acute behavioral health setting required.
Two years of supervisory experience required.
Experience in crisis stabilization or inpatient settings, and/or integrated behavioral health, and/or community mental health setting preferred.
Significant knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities that pertain to youth and behavioral health treatment and familiarity with a CSU model of treatment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the supervision and oversight of the Program Coordinator.
Participates in an on-call rotation for the CSU, in collaboration with the Program Coordinator.
Responsible for the overall clinical and administrative supervision of administrative, clinical and program/milieu staff. Provides for the management and coordination of performance evaluations of applicable staff. Supervises licensed clinicians, clinicalcoordinators, interns, shift leads, admissions specialists, and residential counselors, with support from the Program Coordinator.
Responsible for the scheduling of all staff in their respective departments and communicating schedules to coordinate the smooth operation of the program. Scheduling must comply with State regulations regarding staff to child/youth ratios, prioritizing safety, quality of programming, and resources, including budget.
Works in coordination with the supervisors of the medical department to establish and maintain a positive, effective, and efficient team.
Works with the Program Coordinator to develop therapeutic and evidence-based milieu programming.
Provides and arranges for training of staff, as well as working with other departments for specific training appropriate to different positions. This includes creating and working with other departments to create a trauma-informed, safe environment for treatment and safety planning back to the community to be maximized. Ensures all training is in compliance with CDHS Volume 7 rule and BHA rule.
Completion and reviewing of all necessary documentation, including Critical Incidents, Unusual Incidents, PQI Reports, Corporate Compliance Reports, Medication Occurrences, and accreditation documents. Will be trained in TRAILs and ensure compliance with reporting requirements to TRAILs.
Responsible for compliance with regulatory agencies and referral sources (CDHS, BHA, payers, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws).
Oversees administrative policy and procedures, analyzes the same and makes recommendations for improvement.
Ensures that proper financial procedures are followed by staff. Monitors revenue generated and expenditures of the department.
Monitors staff productivity, and other measures of performance. Participates in development of systems, which provide needed program management information for inclusion in the organization's Performance Quality Improvement Plan.
Participates positively and constructively with the Leadership Team, by attending meetings and contributing needed information and ideas which will assure ongoing improvement in the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Ensures excellent customer service and satisfaction with all stakeholders.
Monitors ongoing program functioning and makes progress reports as required.
Has a physical presence on the unit and monitors and insures child/youth and staff safety. Willingness to step into other roles (therapist, milieu staff, intake coordinator) where assistance is needed.

Oversee and ensure effective and efficient processes and workflows for discharge and transition of care to community resources.
Commitment to build a strong collaborative partnership with other clinical managers located at the Zang Site and build cohesion amongst all teams located at Zang.

Advanced clinical expertise - cardiopulmonary background preferred.
Ability to travel within assigned territories with 2-3 overnight stays.
Autonomous, able to complete goals with minimal of supervision.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organizations vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
What qualifications you will need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Activity in professional organizations encouraged.
Experience: Six month of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is required.
Special Qualifications: Continuing demonstration of clinical and leadership competency. Commitment and understanding of staffing matrix/productivity standard. Committed to the goals of the unit, patient safety initiatives and positive patient experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the standards of nursing practice. Displays judgment and superior problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
