Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team

Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives

What qualifications you will need:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

This role ensures the delivery of safe, culturally responsive, and healing-centered services across the clinical program. The Clinical Supervisor promotes clinical excellence, ethical practice, and staff wellness while fostering resilience and reflective practice. Key Responsibilities Clinical Supervision & Guidance
Provide individual supervision to licensed and pre-licensed therapists, focusing on case conceptualization, interventions, ethics, and reflective practice.
Review and co-sign treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Lead case consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Provide real-time clinical support during crises or high-risk situations.
Student Intern Supervision & Training
Supervise student interns (practicum students), providing regular guidance, evaluation, and feedback.
Create, update, and maintain student intern training documents, ensuring clear expectations and structured learning opportunities.
Facilitate orientation and ongoing training for student interns on trauma-informed care, clinical documentation, and clinical therapy skills.
Ensure practicum students' learning goals remain on track through regular check-ins and progress reviews.
Provide formal field evaluations at mid-semester and end-of-semester.
Complete required documentation and communications for the student's university.
Offer ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development for student interns.
Direct Client Services
Conduct clinical mental health evaluations for both voluntary and court-ordered clients.
Maintain an active counseling caseload, offering individual as needed.
Develop treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in alignment with agency and licensure standards.
Deliver services using trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practices.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure interventions are evidence-based, culturally responsive, and client-centered.
Maintain compliance with licensure, payer, and agency standards.
Staff Development & Wellness
Mentor and coach staff in trauma-informed practices and cultural humility.
Provide ongoing training on clinical care, group dynamics, and safety planning.
Facilitate debriefings after challenging cases.
Promote wellness, reflective practice, and team culture of safety and trust.
Program Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with leadership to design, implement, and evaluate clinical services.
Support integration of psychoeducation, skills, and support groups into clinical programming.
Coordinate care with therapists, facilitators, advocates, and external partners.
Contribute to grant reporting, program evaluation, and quality improvement.
Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
Independent clinical license (LMFT, LCSW, LCPC) in good standing; supervisor designation preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years post-licensure experience, including supervision of individual and group services.
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, group facilitation, and culturally responsive practices.
Ability to support staff in high-stress, trauma-impacted environments.
Preferred
Experience with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and complex trauma.
Training in trauma-focused group models (e.g., Seeking Safety, TF-CBT, reflection, mindfulness, psychoeducational groups).
Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Responsible for providing Clinical Research support for all clinical trials. Under the direction of supervisor or designee, this position will serve as support for the clinical study team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Participate and assist in design and preparation of protocols and case report forms.
Generate clinical SOPs, policies, charters, and plans according to US and international guidelines.
Participate in the evaluation of potential clinical sites according to established criteria of acceptability.
Responsible for procurement of budgets, contracts, regulatory documents, and other administrative documents as related to clinical research functions.
