Inventory Optimization Service is a tech-enabled service that provides hospital pharmacies with the insights, tools, workflow, and expertise to improve their financial performance and patient outcomes. Leverage Inventory Optimization Service digital tools to review, validate, prioritize, and implement opportunities to drive optimization. Track ongoing performance and review with customers using Inventory Optimization Service dashboards. Work with Inventory Optimization Service team to troubleshoot customer issues, ensure triage to appropriate function, manage customer expectations (scenarios include: data problems, outliers, etc.) Contribute to service delivery “best practice playbook”. Contribute to cross - functional initiatives and projects where subject matter expertise in pharmacy operations, inventory management, and diversion management is required. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD An active State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in the (U.S.) state of your resident 5+ years of work experience within an acute care hospital-based pharmacy 2+ years pharmacy operations experience including inventory management/control and pharmacy automation Demonstrated experience in at least 3 pharmacy system or workflow implementation projects Experience: Passionate transformer: maximize customer experience by transforming the way services are delivered.     Job Description Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Clinical Coding Analysts are assigned to a specific client(s) and have the primary responsibility of daily pre-bill chart reviews and communication via recommendations, questions, and/or rebuttals to the client within a 24-hour time frame for each chart reviewed. - Reviews the electronic health record to identify both revenue opportunities and potential coding compliance issues-based ICD-10-CM/PCS coding rules, AHA Coding Clinics, and clinical knowledge. - Provide verbal review on all cases with a potential MS DRG recommendation and/or physician query opportunities with the Physician(s) via telephone call prior to submitting recommendations to the client. - Ensures that the daily work list is uploaded into the MS DRG Database for assigned client(s) and enter required data elements for each patient recommendation into MS DRG Database. - Prepares and composes all recommendations, including increased reimbursement, decreased reimbursement, and "FYI" for each account and communicates that to the client within 24 hours of receiving and reviewing the electronic medical record. - Follows internal protocol on all client questions and rebuttals on cases reviewed within 24 hours of receipt. - Responsible for review and appeal, if warranted, on Medicare and/or third-party denials on charts processed through the MS DRG Assurance program. - Responsible for reviewing inclusions and exclusions specific to 30 Day Readmissions and Mortality quality measures on specific cohorts for traditional Medicare payers for specific clients. - Maintains IT access at all client sites that have been assigned by ensuring that log on and passwords have not expired. - Maintain current knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS code changes, AHA Coding Clinic, and Medicare regulations. - Utilizes internal resources, such as TruCode, and CDocT. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Requirements: - AHIMA credential of CCS, CDIP or ACDIS credential of CCDS is required. About the role We're seeking an experienced Clinical Data Associate that is responsible for configuring and maintaining Electronic Data Capture (eDC) systems across our veterinary clinical trials. The role requires someone who is familiar with veterinary clinical trials, highly organized, and thrives on understanding complex workflows to create clear, structured solutions that support regulatory-compliant, audit-ready data collection and trial execution. You will be reporting to our Senior Project Manager. Your daily work will include: Designing, configuring, testing, and supporting eDC systems that meet the data collection needs of study protocols, from exploratory to pivotal clinical trials. Influencing study design, data capture, and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and FDA/CVM regulations. eDC builds that include novel or complex design requirements, navigate challenging concepts, and prioritize usability for our clinical team and veterinary hospitals. Validation of system, edit checks, derivations, and custom logic through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to release. Monitoring in-life study database, troubleshooting inconsistencies or system issues, and supporting mid-study updates in collaboration with our clinical team. Conducting training and developing tools to ensure seamless onboarding and support for study teams and veterinary sites. Maintaining thorough documentation, validation reports, and data dictionaries. Collaborating daily with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Data Science and Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory teams, and serving as the primary point of contact between Loyal and external eDC vendor(s).
