What You Will Do:
General Summary

Develops and implements complex communication and fact-finding techniques to maximize clinician and operational input and asset utilization, while minimizing associated time and monetary commitments of the hospital.
+ Develops solutions for device connectivity, including reviewing and developing clinical and/or operational workflow, data flow analysis, network diagrams, hardware specifications, middle ware analysis and configuration, connectivity to servers, virtual machines and Picture Archiving Systems (PACS), evaluation of medical device compatibility with IT infrastructure. Sets up test environment for technology assessment and review of data storage requirements. Conducts a complete assessment of IT security risks and works to minimize those risks.
+ Assists in the identification, design and selection of healthcare technology platform, equipment, hardware and software, deployment, maintenance, and testing procedures to meet clinical and operational needs by providing the evaluation and research of medical device interoperability with other medical devices and/or IT infrastructure by identifying the hardware, software and clinical applications required.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Education and Experience
