THE ROLE: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) AHA's Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory testing and reporting laboratory findings to physicians. AHA's MLT must meet the Personnel Responsibilities per CLIA Sec. 493.1495: Standard Testing Personnel Responsibilities. AHA's MLT must follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
