Responsibilities
• Performs sanitary cleaning activities as defined by established operating procedures and as directed by Manager/Supervisor

• Maintains accurate and complete records
• Attends and completes all training required by Company SOPs, procedures and policies

Essential Position Responsibilities:
Proficiency in the operation of laboratory's instruments for analysis of biological samples collected from laboratory animals for standard panels of clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation and urinalysis.
Maintenance and QC of laboratory instruments and equipment according to SOP.
Perform manual methods such as blood smear review, manual reticulocyte count, and urine microscopic examination.
Records observations and collects data via data capture systems, and/or hand generated forms in accordance with GLPs, SOPs, and protocol.
Independently reviews data, performs laboratory QC and identifies potential problems.
Communicates with the study directors and in-life technicians regarding sample quality.
Additional Position Responsibilities:
Performs general laboratory support functions such as supply inventory, shipping procedures, administration of computer systems or data maintenance.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to multi-task and participate in multiple nonclinical research studies concurrently.
Ability to produce high quality data while working under the pressure of strict deadlines.
Overtime, weekend and holiday work may be required.
Work requires passing pulmonary function test, annual physical and the use of other PPE (personal protective equipment)

Care Giver:
Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; knows where their residents are and physically checks on them throughout the shift.
