LAB CERTIFICIATION REQUIRED Regulatory Requirement (education and related knowledge): Including 6-12 months of clinical education acceptable through NAACLS to the CAHEA of American Medical Association. Must be able to perform all phases of job at a satisfactory level in 4 months or 130 days. Current MT Certification or eligible for certification by a nationally recognized agency such as ASCP, NCA, or equivalent. Generalist certification is required within 2 years of employment. Maintains CMP if applicable. JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Technologist uses the laboratory process to safely perform laboratory procedures.
