Title Medical Lab Scientist - Core Lab Nights Bell Hospital / Career Interest: The Medical Lab Scientist provides comprehensive laboratory testing for patients. The position consists of ensuring patients' laboratory results are accurate, timely and with quality. Overview This Lab Tech 2 position is responsible for providing high quality customer service to ensure timely and accurate specimen handling throughout the respective laboratory sections, includes internal and external customers (i.e. clients, physicians, patient care services staff, allied health staff care services personnel and DPLM coworkers) while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Specimen handling and distribution Use of Information Systems Specimen collection (phlebotomy and SWCL) in accordance with CMH policies and procedures as applicable. Customer service to internal and external customers in accordance with CMH shared values and service excellence programs Performance of waived to moderate complexity testing and reporting; and/or specimen processing and preparation under appropriate supervision, following in-depth training and competency assessment procedures (as assigned). The pay range for this job begins at $23.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
