Plans, implements and reports to staff meetings effectively on special assignments. Education and Experience: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Has successfully completed at least one year of professional coursework in a school of Medical Technology approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association or equivalent experience in a clinical laboratory as a Medical Technologist. Minimum of one of the following is required: Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist; or Medical Technologist Certification, MT (ASCP BOC), or CHT/CHS (ABHI) certification. Must obtain CHT certification to advance to Technical Specialist role. Must obtain CHS certification along with mentoring Medical Technologists with successful completion of CHT Certification to advance to Senior Specialist role. Must accept assignment to any shift as determined by the director to be in the best interest of the laboratory's duty to the patients. Schedule: Regular Evening Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, including rotational weekend, holidays, and on-call Training Period (First 90-180 Days): Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay Range: Salary: $71,680.00 - $101,500.00 This salary range is based on our market pay structures.
