We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Circuit Lab Technician to join our Lab Team. This position is responsible for the quality control, testing, repair, and assembly of circuit boards used in MSS equipment. The technician will work closely with the Circuit Lab Supervisor to ensure all electronic assemblies meet strict quality standards and function reliably in the field.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quality control checks on all newly manufactured and repaired boards using lab test stands and diagnostic tools.
+ Assemble and troubleshoot circuit boards using schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical drawings.
+ Diagnose and repair circuit issues such as bad solder joints, inoperative components, or ineffective circuitry.
+ Inspect all incoming off-site and internal builds for completeness and compliance with specifications.
+ Acquire necessary parts and components for board repairs and upgrades.
+ Operate computers and lab instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering tools, etc.) to acquire data and evaluate board performance.
+ Interpret drawings, manuals, and written/verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
+ Test optical filters and mirrors to verify performance specifications; perform fiber optic prep and cutting as needed for integration.
+ Install circuit boards into mechanical assemblies started in the shop, complete final stages and perform functional QC checks.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience in circuit board assembly, testing, and repair.
+ Proficient in reading and analyzing technical documents including BOMs, schematics, and technical procedures.
+ Comfortable using hand tools, soldering equipment, test instruments, and diagnostic software.
+ Proficient with computers and familiar with their maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job Duties
Prepares and delivers instruction on topics in Medical Lab Technology and Phlebotomy.
Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, tests, and papers fairly and consistently; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of papers and other work.
Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists in student recruitment and retention; and assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom.
Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.
Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.
