Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join a dedicated team focused on serving the nation's Veterans through essential General Medicine care in the vibrant city of Salt Lake City, Utah. This position allows you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in a collaborative environment. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality services to our Veterans, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform primarily interview-based examinations, including some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Maintain meticulous records and complete reports, including any necessary addendums. Ensure thorough evaluations of respiratory and cardiovascular health. Adhere to all guidelines and protocols established by the practice. Engage in ongoing professional development and training as necessary. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Must have an AANP certification. Active and unrestricted nursing license in Utah. Willingness to complete DMA training for certification. Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred. License and Certification Requirements: Valid AANP certification. Full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Utah.
