Summary:
A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. They independently assess, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. RRTs work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver life-saving therapies and patient-centered care.
Essential Work Functions:
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
Observe and record patient status and progress
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care
Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice

The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Command Line Interfaces (CLI) for diagnostics, managing escalations, and ensuring the consistent delivery of breakfix services across a range of server, storage, and network hardware platforms.
Pay rate for day shift is up to $90k and night shift is up to $100k.
This position involves rotational shifts to support 24/7/365 operations.
This role may require up to 10% travel domestically and internationally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead breakfix operations across server, storage, and network hardware platforms, ensuring timely and effective resolution of hardware failures.
Perform advanced diagnostics using CLI tools (e.g., Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Linux shell) to identify and resolve system and network issues.
Oversee physical hardware repair, including component-level replacements (e.g., drives, memory, NICs, PSUs, fans, motherboards).
Troubleshoot Layer 1-3 network issues, including port failures, link flaps, and misconfigurations.
Coordinate with OEM vendors for RMA processes, part replacements, and warranty claims.
Maintain and update documentation for incident resolution, root cause analysis, and repair procedures.
Manage ticket queues and ensure SLA adherence through effective prioritization and escalation.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and maintenance windows.
Ensure compliance with MOPs and CMOPs, and contribute to their development and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience in data center operations or IT support.
5+ years of experience in breakfix support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency with CLI-based tools and environments (e.g., Cisco CLI, Linux/Unix shell, iDRAC, iLO).
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing server, storage, and network hardware.
Familiarity with network protocols and tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, netstat, SNMP, syslog).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between data center sites as needed.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, Dell EMC, or equivalent vendor-specific credentials.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and asset management platforms.
Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus.
Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment with on-call responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to frequently exert force equivalent to lifting up to approximately 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and more than 20 inches, and ability to adjust focus.
Three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships.

The Stan/Eval Support position will support Combat Air Forces (CAF) Fighter Squadron (FS), USAF Warfare Center (USAFWC), and Air Support Operations Squadrons (ASOS) in Air Combat Command (ACC).

Responsibilities
Maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials.
Update data in PEX, future equivalent systems to PEX, and locally-developed computer database systems as required.
Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel to update the Aviation
Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems to ARMS as required.
Coordinate with training officer to review and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs: AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MDS-V2 as well as associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone or in person.
Generate the following reports/forms:
Evaluation and testing status and trend data reports.
Provide data to the Operations Group (OG) for standardization evaluation board (SEB) 6 month report.
AF Form 8, Qualification of Aircrew Qualification.
Perform testing administrator duties/function for the unit.
Conduct monthly reviews of those aircrews entering into the first month of evaluation eligibility period.
Interpret AFIs and provide guidance and to personnel assigned to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel.

Evaluation and testing status and trend data reports.

Two (2) years of experience working with PEX (4.3.1) / TACTICS (4.3.2) or similar proprietary scheduling program.
Two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
