As a licensed pharmacist, this role plays a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of prescription medications. Support collaborative problem-solving efforts and promote continuous improvement across pharmacy workflows. 7. Exercise professional judgment and decision-making, even in ambiguous or variable situations, with minimal supervision. 8. Communicate effectively with team members, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals to resolve issues and optimize patient care. 9. In conjunction with the BMH-Memphis Director of Pharmacy, leads the planning, developing, implementing and monitoring of all outpatient pharmacy retail functions to ensure optimal outcomes by the use of integrated clinical, informational, and drug distribution systems. Responsibilities Coordinates and manages the medication use process of outpatient pharmacy retail services including Meds to Beds, Point of Care testing.Manages and implements pharmacy service's administrative responsibilities to ensure productive and effective service programs.Manages resources in collaboration with the pharmacy services administrative personnel.Manages the integration of appropriate clinical and operational services.Ensures the implementation of the health system and department's performance improvement plan.Manages and monitors appropriate use of resources in accordance with capital and operational budget initiatives in an integrated health system.Promotes and adheres to our service first philosophy for customer service.Effectively manages one's own practice and self-development.
