In this newly-created role, the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor will join the pharmacy leadership team to provide general leadership and support in the development and management of clinical pharmacy services to patients through the hospital. Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated clinical pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and clinical expertise to patients. Pharmacists at Regions Hospital provide professional pharmaceutical services by rounding with patient care teams, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients/families, precepting pharmacy students and residents, reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, overseeing the work of direct support personnel, and participating in quality and safety improvement projects. to assist in clinical care plan • Prescribe medication according to Collaborative Practice Agreements• Serves as an up-to-date drug information resource to assist all staff members• Engages patients
