We're looking for a Pharmacist Float to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with processing prescriptions. This full-time position guarantees 40 hours per week and involves traveling to our 23 sites in Connecticut to cover for PTO and LOAs for our pharmacists. You could be working at any of our pharmacy sites in Waterbury (2), Bristol, Plainville, Torrington, New Britain, Meriden, Ansonia, Hartford (4), East Hartford, Middletown, Milford, Manchester, Enfield, Stamford, Mansfield, Norwich, New London, Griswold and Dayville.

The hourly range for this role is $43.17 to $84.95 per hour based on full-time employment. Reports to the Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy Operations, Rhode Island Hospital (RIH). JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Work requires at a minimum a BS Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. A master's degree in related field (MBA, MPH, MS in pharmacy) is preferred but not required. Completion of specialized clinical residency in Hematology Oncology or other specialty settings preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Work requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the hire date.
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP).
Applicant can be licensed in another state and pending reciprocation.
EXPERIENCE:
Post-graduate training or at least two years of pertinent work experience. Must have work experience in providing direct patient care in Hematology and or Oncology and some leadership experience.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Work requires a high level of analytical ability, organizational, and personal management skill to function as a role model and focus to ensure the concerted approach to clinical operations. Must also be able to evaluate current pharmacy services and procedures to improve them through an evaluative process.

Clinical pharmacist in a 250 plus bed teaching hospital in Boston, MA servicing a variety of patient populations. Responsibilities

Participates in Drug Utilization Evaluation program, Quality Improvement projects and prepares summary reports.
Provide subject matter expertise to medical residents and medical staff
