Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of New York required.
Five (5) years of pharmacy experience required. Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
Clinical knowledge of health or social work needs for the population served.
Ability to interact effectively with physicians and other members of the health care team.
Successful corporate sales/service experience required, preferably in a manufacturer sales or specialty pharmacy industry.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, process management and analytical skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and bring projects to completion.
Local and regional (Northeast) travel required. Any Reliance Rx associate who uses a motor vehicle in the course of their duties representing Reliance Rx must be compliant with State Motor Vehicle laws and must follow the Policy that pertains to Driver's License Requirements as a condition of employment.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required; experience with CPR+ preferred.

Build a strong professional relationship between Reliance Rx and the regional provider community to facilitate the acquisition of additional prescription volume; seek unique opportunities to further define Reliance Rx's value proposition to its customers.
Meet with external partners periodically to review sales performance, define expectations, and perform gap analysis compared with competition.
Maintain detailed records of all contacts and meetings; create reports and sales analytics when needed; provide backup documentation, call sheets, and other detail on provider engagement as necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to approach potential customers and increase prescription volume.
Collaborate with leadership to define and implement an effective call/office visit plan that meets the company's strategic needs.
Act as liaison between the regional provider community and Reliance Rx operations and clinical staff to resolve issues.
Coordinate and deliver sales presentations.
Ensure accurate Reliance Rx product and company information is communicated through ongoing training and attending meetings with Reliance Rx operations and clinical staff.
Promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.
Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization; assess customer needs and suggest solutions; respond to more complex customer inquiries.
Perform staff/specialty pharmacist tasks regularly, including dispensing (checking) prescriptions, counseling patients, reviewing care plans, accepting and making provider calls, and other assigned tasks by senior clinical staff or Supervising Pharmacist.

Hiring Compensation Range: $120,000 - $135,000 annually

We are currently conducting a search for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing team of colleagues at our customer site, Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY, to provide outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases to help them achieve improved clinical outcomes.
Pharmacy Location: Located within Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Primary Responsibilities:
* Establishing great working relationships with clinic staff and physicians in customer clinics.
* Leading medication management in the clinic(s), owning clinical outcome KPIs (as set), and ensuring that the patient/CPS engagement is appropriate and consistent with customer preferences. This includes:
* Ensuring that every patient who can benefit from specialty pharmacy services is identified and met in clinic upon arrival
* Showing patients, through action, the benefits of using the customer's specialty pharmacy services, without impeding the patient choice of pharmacy
* Leading clinical follow-up with patients per defined protocols - through outbound phone calls and in-person appointments - to ensure patients are adherent to therapy and any issues are identified and resolved expediently
* Accepting inbound calls from patients, and sharing in on-call coverage to ensure 24/7 patient support
* Appropriately addressing clinical questions, triaging as appropriate
* Partnering with physicians in clinics to ensure therapies selected are evidence-based.
* Participating in leadership and clinic staff meetings to help explain the CPS model.
* Assisting the site leader with recruiting and training of on-site Pharmacy Liaisons and Clinical Pharmacists.
* Assisting with dispensing, administrative, compliance-related or other tasks to ensure patients in the program receive unmatchable service

Required Qualifications:
* PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree with equivalent and acceptable experience from a College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP)
* Licensed to practice, or the ability to become licensed as a Pharmacist in the applicable state
Preferred Qualification:
* Pharmacy residency or Board Certification
* 1+ years of clinical experience or residency equivalent is preferred, but all candidates will be considered
* Ambulatory or specialty experience
* Proficiency in multiple EMR systems such as Cerner, EPIC or Meditech
* Proficiency with dispensing systems such as Willow Ambulatory, QS1, RX30, Computer Rx, etc. along with experience in pharmacy dispensing

Essential Accountabilities

Documents and Reports adverse events, adverse effects, and lack of tolerability to MD, pharmacy and management team.
Use computer programs including CPR +, MS Office, (word, excel, power point) to record data and create reporting structure.
Assist in the maintenance of Prior Authorization forms.
Maintain positive facilitative communication and problem solve difficult situations to resolution.

Hiring Compensation Range: $22.50 - $26.00 hourly
Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.
