    The Clinical Pharmacy Manager - Ambulatory Oncology provides leadership and strategic oversight of oncology pharmacy services across ambulatory settings at Montefiore Medical Center. This role advances Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM) programs, specialized clinics, telehealth services, and evidence-based medication management to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Reporting to the Director of Clinical and Educational Pharmacy Services and supervising two clinical pharmacists, the Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for optimizing pharmacotherapy outcomes through direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and provider education. Additional responsibilities include evaluating cancer-related medications such as antineoplastic and supportive therapies, contributing to research and quality initiatives, and partnering with revenue cycle teams to expand billable services and strengthen compliance and reimbursement. Education & Licensure Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Active license to practice pharmacy in the State of New York Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or equivalent certification preferred Eligible for credentialing as an Allied Health Professional Experience: Completion of a PGY2 Residency in Oncology is strongly preferred. In lieu of a PGY2, completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and a minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in oncology pharmacy practice is required. Demonstrated expertise in managing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies for adult oncology patients Experience applying geriatric oncology principles, including frailty assessment, dose adjustments, polypharmacy management, and supportive care Familiarity with Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) oncology, including psychosocial, reproductive, and survivorship considerations Experience in designing, conducting, and managing clinical research Proven ability to balance patient care, education, and departmental initiatives in a dynamic environment Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team collaboration skills Working knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Web Intelligence, Clinical Looking Glass) and electronic health record systems (e.g. Epic).     The schedule will be nights and weekends of 3:30pm to midnight + EOW 12:30PM to 9PM. The potential for rotating shifts is available of days/night + EOW. The day shift would be 9am to 5:30pm and night shift would be 3:30pm to midnight. Weekend shift would be 12:30pm to 9pm EOW. The position would be to handle the anticipated incoming volume being transferred from a different site. The positions would assist to alleviate further potential OT with the current team in regards to the changing business priorities. The candidate will be joining a positive and dedicated team of pharmacists who strive to provide patient care at the highest level. Responsibilities of the position include but is not limited to: assist with daily workflow related to prescription order processing including review of orders for appropriateness and accuracy; review orders processed by technicians; collaborate with other healthcare providers to clarify orders; utilize DUR for patient prescription management; good understanding of NJ BOP regulations for prescription management and dispensing guidelines, including controlled medications. The candidate must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state of NJ, with a minimum of BS of Pharmacy, from an accredited school of pharmacy.
