What You'll Do The Clinical Pharmacist will play a critical role in executing Suvida's Healthcare model to strengthen the provider-patient relationship and engagement by enhancing the quality and affordability of care. Job DescriptionDescription: The pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmacy services to pharmacy patients. Responsibilities of the Pharmacist include the following: Ensure that pharmaceuticals are accurately dispensed in accordance with pharmacy protocols and physician orders. Job Description The Regional Pharmacist plays a vital role in maintaining uninterrupted pharmacy services across a multi-state network of long-term care and behavioral health pharmacies. This position provides on-site pharmacist coverage during both scheduled and unscheduled absences (e.g., PTO, sick leave, leaves of absence) to ensure continuity of operations, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. When not actively staffing a pharmacy, the Regional Pharmacist works under the direction of the Regional Director of Pharmacy to support operational initiatives, staff development, training, and process improvement projects that enhance performance and service quality across sites. This is a highly adaptable and travel-intensive role requiring strong clinical knowledge, leadership presence, and the ability to quickly integrate into different pharmacy environments, workflows, and regulatory frameworks. To excel in this position, a Regional Pharmacist must demonstrate the ability to: Respond rapidly and flexibly to site needs with short notice, managing shifting priorities and dynamic schedules. Represent pharmacy leadership on-site during coverage, reinforcing operational consistency, safety standards, and company values. Support to Director & Regional Operations (60%) • When not actively staffing a pharmacy, the Regional Pharmacist will: Assist in the onboarding and training of new pharmacists and technicians, helping to standardize competencies and support a consistent standard of care across sites. Participate in workflow analysis and improvement initiatives, including policy implementation, system optimization, and pharmacy efficiency efforts. Serve as a resource for pharmacy teams, offering support with day-to-day operational questions and escalating issues to leadership when necessary. Visually reads and interprets physician's orders including drug product, strength, dosage, start and stop time, initial inventory quantity, etc. Assures that appropriate products are selected to prepare the dose accurately. Routinely follows internal procedures in the pharmacy and on nursing units to verify controlled substance inventories, minimize drug diversion and document wastes or missing doses. Routinely checks for expired drugs. Routinely performs nursing unit inspections, narcotics audits, nursing/pharmacy meetings.
