POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Clinical Pharmacy Drug Information is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of all specialty pharmacy services and programs at Clearway Health. In this role, the Director also oversees the strategic gathering, analysis, and dissemination of drug information and market intelligence. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Develops and works on approval of business cases for key strategies and initiatives
Provides oversight and supervision of drug information specialists and initiatives and market intelligence activities.
Reviews and analyzes specialty drug pipelines, new NDA, ANDA and BLA applications, FDA actions, new drug launches, package insert changes, new indications, new or updated REMS requirements and other areas pertaining to the specialty pharmaceuticals space
Reviews and analyzes payer and PBM policy changes pertaining to specialty pharmaceuticals
Reviews, analyzes regulatory changes pertaining to specialty pharmaceuticals and pharmacies and advise on workflow and process changes
Prepares drug monographs, policies, protocols and educational materials as needed
Works collaboratively with Clearway teams and health system partners to provide education and information on all matters pertaining to drug information, specialty drug pipelines, specialty pharmacy regulatory changes and payer/PBM policy changes
Coordinates multi-disciplinary committees with participation by Clearway teams and health system partners to share specialty pharmacy market intelligence, drug pipeline updates, regulatory and policy changes
Helps design value initiatives geared toward optimizing specialty pharmacy services, improve patientcare outcomes and boost the financial performance of specialty pharmacy programs
Develops analytics, analytical tools and performance metrics to use in value analysis
Attends corporate and site-based committee meetings and other ad hoc meetings with clinicians and health system personnel as necessary to assess needs, communicate progress on specific projects and develop relationships.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of all product and service needs and industry developments related to specialty pharmacy

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy is required

What You'll Do
The ClinicalPharmacist Specialist, Behavioral Health provides medication management and clinical expertise in psychiatric pharmacotherapy. The Role:
We are looking for a ClinicalPharmacist to join a strong team of clinicians, analysts, clinical support staff, and trainees to utilize Arine's software platform and to help optimize patient outcomes for our clients. The purpose of this position is to provide an expert level medication therapy consultation to the patients and providers, collaborate with the Engineering team and leadership to improve Arine's software platform, and to help supervise the Clinical Care support team. This candidate will have a direct impact on patient care and the delivery of our core clinical services, stay continuously up-to-date on developments in the fast-moving drug field, and be aware of emerging patterns, treatment guidelines, and best practices.

Under the direction of the Director or Manager the pharmacist assumes responsibility for the pharmacotherapy outcomes of patients through knowledge and skills coupled with innovative technology.
Responsibilities
Serves as a point of contact for the patient and their family, other pharmacists (internally or externally), clients, and/or other healthcare providers to address medication related problems (MRPs), other medication or health-related issues, and/or answer questions regarding pharmacotherapy needs, medication dispensing, issues, and suggestions.
Explains care plan options and the use, side effects, and contraindications of medications dispensed, either verbally and/or via written records, stored within proprietary software. Ensures that patient care decisions and actions as well as coding/billing are properly documented by providing accurate, efficient, timely and compliant medication distribution and fulfillment for patients using proprietary software.
Oversee Pharmacy Technicians to ensure appropriate medication reconciliation, physician order entry, inventory management, medication storage and security conditions, and medication labelling and packaging as well as compliance to company policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Provides timely review, preparation/compounding, and final approval for prescription orders and dispensed medications ensuring the correct drug, dosage form, directions, quantity, days' supply, number of refills and packaging/labelling, including ancillary warnings, is entered into the appropriate patient profile, and dispensed to the correct patient. Works to ensure proper and compliant billing and record keeping of medications dispensed and shipped.
Uses professional judgment to provide timely, accurate and appropriate pharmaceutical care appropriately assessing new medication requests and refills making recommendations, in writing or via telephone to care providers to enhance patient outcomes and/or safety as needed in relation to care plans, changes, issues, and education.
Ensures compliance to state and federal laws and applicable rules and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures required for pharmacy practice. Reports and works to rectify or prevent any incidents of QAs, HIPAA violations, Fraud, Waste and Abuse or other problems or violations.

Schedule
This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. Rotating weekend schedule required approximately up to four times a year or as needed along with a rotating holiday schedule.

Qualifications
What You'll Need to Have
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.

About the Role
