Responsible for monitoring and following up on clinical clarifications utilizing eMAR system, dispensing history, and direct communication with the center. Should clear old pending clarifications from queue based on new orders received or non-responsiveness by profiling or deleting orders. Review and approve Change in Prescription suggestions based on payer preference utilizing the ECS message and test claims. Review and Approve therapeutic interchange suggestions for non-auto TI states. Communicate national backorder issues with center. Determine if alternative orders are required or for short term out of stock issues, utilizing backup pharmacies. Respond to email and other electronic communication (internal and external) including requests for RX Verify control withdrawals (if appropriately licensed). Review emergency CII prescriptions and contact the center or MD to ensure timely receipt of hardcopies. All other duties as assigned.
