Administrative Duties Budget and performance management: maintain individual care management budget, regularly report on clinical and financial performance measures JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Work requires at a minimum a BS Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy. A master's degree in related field (MBA, MPH, MS in pharmacy) is preferred but not required. Completion of specialized clinical residency in Hematology Oncology or other specialty settings preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Work requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the hire date. Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP). Applicant can be licensed in another state and pending reciprocation. EXPERIENCE: Post-graduate training or at least two years of pertinent work experience. Must have work experience in providing direct patient care in Hematology and or Oncology and some leadership experience. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Work requires a high level of analytical ability, organizational, and personal management skill to function as a role model and focus to ensure the concerted approach to clinical operations. Must also be able to evaluate current pharmacy services and procedures to improve them through an evaluative process. Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills to relate to hospital healthcare personnel working cooperatively and collaboratively to resolve situations and problems, as well as effectively communicating and displaying leadership within and outside of the department. Work requires a high level of computer skills including all Microsoft Office platforms.

The Role The Clinical Pharmacist- Commercial is primarily responsible for oversight/support of the formulary offerings, utilization management protocols, and related clinical programs.
