Under the general supervision of the Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Services, the Clinical Pharmacist II - Oncology, manages the outpatient oncology and medical pharmacy services in collaboration with the medical staff and other health professionals. This is inclusive of daily rounds and recommendations to medical staff to improve the quality of patient outcomes, optimize drug therapy, and reduce costs. The Pharmacist-in Charge is responsible for the oversight of pharmacy dispensing process and consultation of patients. The Pharmacist in Charge ensures the maintenance of efficient pharmacy operation, customer satisfaction and loyalty and regulatory compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide pharmaceutical care to Customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling Customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication, and required documentation.
